The candidates are:
Oakland 59ers: The Raiders scored a franchise record 59 points, thrashing the host Broncos, 59-14, on Sunday.
McFadden’s return: The Oakland win was sparked by the return of running back Darren McFadden. After missing two games with a hamstring injury, McFadden had 165 yards rushing and four touchdowns in Oakland’s romp.
Brown doesn’t give Chargers a kick: In his first game replacing Nate Kaeding (who may miss another game with a groin injury) kicker Kris Brown had a 50-yard field goal clang off the goal posts in the final seconds of a 23-20 loss to New England.
