The San Diego Union Tribune is reporting that the Chargers have made their final offer to running back LaDainian Tomlinson.

This is getting interesting.

The paper reports that the situation is now in Tomlinson's hands. His choice: Either accept the pay cut the Chargers have offered him or be cut.

There have been rumors of Tomlinson not accepting the offer for weeks and his mother told a San Diego radio station during the week that the situation doesn't look promising.

The two sides have been discussing the situation for weeks and if the Chargers truly are not going to give him another offer, a resolution could be soon. Chargers fans may need to prepare themselves for the unthinkable: The departure of their legendary running back. Still, I won't believe it until I see it.

The San Francisco Chronicle is reporting that tackle Khalif Barnes is likely not to sign with the Raiders. The team wants to add two tackles so perhaps it will consider someone else in free agency.

Denver free agent cornerback Karl Paymah is going to visit Tampa Bay. He already visited Baltimore.

Mike Vrabel is ready for his new role in Kansas City.

The Denver Post reports money was a factor in the Jay Cutler-Matt Cassel non-trade.
