Evening Oakland and San Diego notes

Posted by ESPN.com's Bill Williamson

Raiders coach Tom Cable discussed the team's plans for the April 25-26 draft Tuesday. Cable didn't reveal much about the team's strategy, but it is clear the Raiders will look at tackles and receivers with their first pick. Oakland has the No. 7 overall pick in the draft.

I fully expect Oakland to nab a receiver and a tackle in the first three rounds. Check out what Cable had to say. It's an interesting read.

The Chargers aren't complaining about their schedule. The team has only one start at 10 a.m. PT. The Chargers will play at Kansas City at noon local time Oct. 25. Last season, San Diego had the league maximum six early starts. It went 2-4 in the early games in 2009.

San Diego has night games in 2009, including one on Christmas night at Tennessee.
