Scott Young's time in Denver was short.
The offensive lineman retired from the NFL on Thursday. The team is expected to announce his decision Thursday. He signed with Denver as a free agent March 13 and was vying to be a backup in Denver.
Young, 27, retired the day before Denver starts a three-day voluntary minicamp. Young played in Philadelphia from 2005 to 2007 and played in Cleveland last season.
