Chiefs have more competition for Rogers

If Shaun Rogers is going to end up in Kansas City it will be after hearing another team’s sale pitch.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that Rogers is visiting New Orleans. Rogers, cut by Cleveland last week, visited Washington before going to Kansas City on Tuesday. He is one of the few quality players who is eligible to sign with a team now. He reportedly wants a new team by the end of this month.

Rogers played for Kansas City defensive coordinator Romeo Crennel in Cleveland in 2008. Rogers would give Kansas City strong upgrade in the middle of their 3-4 defensive front.
