Marshall and Dawkins back on the field in Denver

The Denver Broncos hit the practice field Sunday with two key players on the field after dealing with injuries, according to the Denver Post.

Receiver Brandon Marshall and safety Brian Dawkins were practicing. Marshall hadn't practiced in 12 days because of a leg injury. Marshall had hip surgery in late March.

Dawkins broke his hand and had surgery less than two weeks ago. Dawkins is expected to be limited in practice, but his presence has to be a boost for the team.

While Marshall and Dawkins return to the field, the team is being cautious with rookie running back Knowshon Moreno. The first-round pick had a mild MCL sprain in his knee and may be out a couple of weeks.
