McFadden runs Raiders to brink of win

DENVER -- Kyle Orton dropped the ball. Two plays later Darren McFadden took it and ran with it.

In a sequence that could seal a win for the Oakland Raiders, Darren McFadden had a 47-yard run to the Denver Broncos one-yard line to set up an Oakland touchdown. The Raiders lead 23-13.

The Broncos were stealing momentum and were driving when Orton fumbled. The Raiders recovered and on the second play of the drive, McFadden erupted.

He has 147 yards on 20 carries. But the 47-yarder was the big blow. Oakland has capitalized after several Denver miscues.

I will next check in with a rapid reaction after the game and a column to follow that.
