There’s apparently nothing wrong with an old-fashioned argument between boss and employee.
In our AFC West poll Tuesday, most of our voters do not think the heated sideline exchange between Kansas City Chiefs coach Todd Haley and quarterback Matt Cassel on Sunday was a big deal. As of 2:20 p.m. ET Wednesday 68 percent of the voters did not think it was something to be worried about.
The majority of the voters likely don’t think it is a big deal because the Chiefs came back to win the game. Cassel said the exchange fired him up and both Cassel and Haley said there were no lingering issues.
Haley has a history of arguing with players on the sideline and he and Cassel have had issues during games before. They probably will again. But as long as the Chiefs win those games it will likely be continued to be overlooked.
Thanks to everyone who played along.
