Perhaps the Tim Tebow era has started in Denver.
Denver coach John Fox inserted Tebow into the game in the third quarter, with the Broncos losing to the San Diego Chargers, 23-10.
Denver went three plays and out with Tebow at quarterback. He replaced Kyle Orton, who struggled Sunday. He was 6-for-13 for 34 yards and he threw an interception.
The Broncos are 6-21 in Orton’s past 27 starts. Fox has maintained that Orton would remain the starter.
But with the chorus Tebow chants in Denver, Fox relented. Let’s see if it continues.
