As of 2:05 p.m. ET, 62 percent of the votes tallied favored Tebow getting a Pro Bowl nod, while 38 percent don’t believe he has done enough to play in the game in Hawaii in late January. Nearly 20,000 votes were cast.
It will be interesting to see if Tebow actually does get to Hawaii. His statistics (a major factor in the quarterback equation) are far from impressive. But he has effectively helped his team win. What other AFC quarterback -- by the way, it’s a weak quarterback year in the conference -- can say they’ve won six of their seven starts this season?
I wonder if the Pro Bowl team will have enough time during Pro Bowl week to practice the option.
Thanks to everyone who played along.
