As expected, it’s Brodie Croyle behind center for Kansas City at Baltimore.
The former starter is playing because his replacement, Matt Cassel, is out with a knee injury.
Croyle was chosen over Tyler Thigpen. Croyle fits the system of new coach Todd Haley better than Thigpen, who is more of a freelancer. Croyle’s biggest challenge will be staying healthy, especially because Kansas City’s offensive line has been weak.
Croyle was hurt twice last season and finished the year on injured reserve.
