Chiefs claim two players

The Chiefs just claimed two players off waivers.

Not surprisingly, they are players who play the positions that are Kansas City's two biggest areas of need -- offensive line and linebacker.

The Chiefs are adding guard Brian De La Puente and linebacker Erik Walden. Thus, Kansas City will have to trim two players from the roster by this afternoon. De La Puente was signed as an undrafted free agent by San Francisco this year. He played at California.

Walden was a sixth-round pick of Dallas' this year. He is from Middle Tennessee State.

Stay tuned for more movement around the AFC West as the day marches on.
