Denver adds two, drops one

The Broncos continued a busy Tuesday by making a few more roster moves after an early morning trade of cornerback Domonique Foxworth to Atlanta for a low draft pick.

This afternoon, Denver continued the makeover of its defensive line by releasing tackle Alvin McKinley. He was a decent contributor last season. Denver is inching towards a youth movement on the defensive line.

With the two roster openings left by the departure of Foxworth and McKinley, Denver signed guard Dylan Gandy and defensive tackle Josh Shaw.

Denver released Gandy on Saturday. The team's offensive line is a little thin at this point and Gandy will give the team some options during practice. Shaw was cut by Oakland on Saturday. Shaw has also played with San Francisco, New Orleans and Miami. He has played in nine NFL games since entering the league in 2002. Shaw was signed by Denver for depth purposes.
