Here are some evening AFC West tidbits:

Wide receiver Chad Jackson is departing Oakland tonight after visiting with the Raiders, his agent David Canter said. Canter said Jackson is off to Cincinnati for a Wednesday visit.

The former Florida star was released by New England on Sunday. Canter said Oakland had interest in signing Jackson at a later date. But Jackson wants to explore other opportunities in the meantime with hopes of being in a uniform for this weekend's games.

Terry Bolar, the agent for veteran right tackle Willie Anderson, said his client will visit San Diego after stops in Baltimore and Tampa Bay. Bolar said there is no set date for Anderson, who was cut by Cincinnati this weekend, to visit the Chargers.

The Raiders cut defensive lineman William Joseph to make room for receiver Ashley Lelie, who agreed terms Monday.

Here are New England coach Bill Belichick's thoughts on the Chiefs.
