Courtesy of the Broncos' PR staff, below is the initial participation report for the Broncos and Raiders as they prepare for Monday night's opener in Oakland.

Denver center Tom Nalen is not going to play because of his second knee surgery in two months. Nalen is expected to be back in a couple of weeks and he will be replaced by Casey Wiegmann who Denver signed from Kansas City.

For Oakland, receiver Javon Walker was limited in practice because of a hamstring injury. Walker has been looking forward to this game since he was cut by Denver and signed by Oakland in March. With Walker dinged up, the Raiders have to prepare newly signed receiver Ashley Lelie to play.
