The Professional Football Researchers Association has inducted another class in the Hall of Very Good. Among this year’s class are two players who spent a major chunk of their careers in the AFC West -- former Raiders cornerback Lester Hayes and former Chiefs defensive lineman Curley Culp.
The Hall of Very Good seeks to honor outstanding players and coaches who are not in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Culp is a senior committee nominee for election into the Pro Football Hall of Fame this year.
Quarterback Jack Kemp, who played briefly for the Chargers, was also inducted.
