According to our AFC West poll respondents it was just a bad day and not a disappointing season for the Denver Broncos.
Our poll asked if the Broncos' season was a success despite a stunning double overtime loss to Baltimore in the AFC divisional playoffs. Denver went 13-3 in the regular season and it entered the playoffs with 11 straight wins. It was the No. 1 seed in the playoffs.
In the end, our readers believe the season was successful. As of 5:20 p.m. ET Wednesday, 57 percent of voters said the season was a success, while 43 percent believes it was not.
It’s difficult to buy an argument that a season was a disappointment because of a double overtime loss. Denver had bigger designs, but in the end a 13-3 season is very impressive -- even if the way the season ended will sting for Denver.
Thanks to everyone who played along.
