Much talk, little AFC West trade action

Perhaps no other division than the AFC West was subject to more trade rumors in the days leading up to Tuesday’s deadline.

However, besides a minor deal in which Kansas City sent defensive lineman Tank Tyler to Carolina, there was no action in the division.

San Diego didn’t buy. Nor did it trade Shawne Merriman or Antonio Cromartie. There were reports the team would trade those players. Also, there weren't any major fire sales in Oakland and Kansas City as had been rumored.

Also, we can officially end any Brandon Marshall trade talk for another five months. Yes, another trade deadline came and went without much action other than a bunch of unfounded rumors.
