San Diego linebacker Kevin Burnett practiced some Thursday, which may be a sign he can play Sunday against the Giants. Burnett has missed the past two games with an ankle injury. The Chargers are thin at inside linebacker and could really use Burnett on Sunday.
Denver defensive lineman Ryan McBean did not practice Thursday with a knee injury.
Kansas City safety Jon McGraw didn’t practice with a thigh injury. He may have difficultly playing Sunday, which would weaken an already thin safety crew. Speaking of safeties, here is a look at the resurgence of Bernard Pollard in Houston. It seems the Chiefs may regret giving up on him so soon.
