The San Diego Chargers dropped just one spot to No. 16 in the Power Rankings after a turnover-prone loss at home to Cincinnati.

San Diego is in the midst of playing three games in 12 days. The Chargers face the New York Giants at home on Sunday, and then travel to Denver for an AFC West contest on Thursday. At 5-7, the Chargers likely need to win both of these games to remain in the AFC wild-card hunt.

San Diego coach Mike McCoy said he's adjusted the practice schedule this week to allow for his players to have enough recovery time the next two weeks.

"We have to take care of our bodies, get rest and do certain things," McCoy said. “[I let them know] this is the way we are going to prepare. This is how we are going to practice, just so they understand the task at hand and just take it one week at a time."
