ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr.'s latest mock draft, his third, is out to those with ESPN Insider access. In his first mock draft of the year, he had the Kansas City Chiefs selecting Notre Dame defensive end Stephon Tuitt. He switched his pick for the Chiefs for his second mock to Florida State wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin.
From a positional standpoint, either selection makes sense for the Chiefs with their first-round pick, which is 23rd overall. The Chiefs could use another big body for their defensive line after losing starting end Tyson Jackson through free agency to the Atlanta Falcons. The Chiefs also got little production from their wide receivers last season and need to think about eventually replacing Dwayne Bowe as their top pass-catcher.
I'll have some reaction to Kiper's latest pick soon.
