Kansas City adds veteran receiver

Posted by ESPN.com's Bill Williamson

The Chiefs made a move in an attempt to spark its passing game by signing receiver Mark Bradley.

Bradley was cut by Chicago last week. He was a second-round pick by Chicago in 2005. Bradley has played in 34 games and he has four starts. He has 38 career NFL receptions and four touchdowns.

The Chiefs have gotten very little production from their receivers other than No. 1 receiver Dwayne Bowe. Is Bradley the answer? He was a disappointment in Chicago but he is young and the Chiefs clearly think he can still develop.

Bradley is 26 and he fits the mold of what the Chiefs are looking for. He will get a chance to show he can be part of the team's rotation at receiver.
