AFC to honor Marshall

The Denver Broncos announced that receiver Brandon Marshall will be named the AFC offensive player of the week for Week 14.

Marshall was an easy choice. He set a NFL record with 21 catches in a 28-16 loss at Indianapolis. Terrell Owens had owned the record. He caught 20 passes in a game in 2000. Marshall had 21 catches for 200 yards in the game.

Marshall is the first NFL player to have eight games in which he caught 10 or more passes in his first four seasons.
