Russell's inaccuracy hurts him

NEW ORLEANS -- JaMarcus Russell was playing with fire all game and it finally bit him.

Russell was intercepted by New Orleans cornerback Jason David in the third quarter. David stepped in front of a Russell pass directed to Ashley Lelie and returned it about 15 yards to the Oakland 17.

Two plays later, Saints quarterback Drew Brees hit Reggie Bush for a 15-yard touchdown pass to give the Saints a 24-3 lead.

New Orleans dropped four interceptions from Russell prior to David's interception. Russell is not having a good game. He has completed 6 of 18 passes for 83 yards. He has been very inaccurate and he looks uncomfortable.
