It’s Jamaal Charles in a runaway.
Charles was brilliant against Denver as he charged a 44-24 Kansas City upset over Denver. The second-year tailback had 259 yards rushing on 25 carries. It set a Kansas City franchise rushing record and was 37 yards off the NFL record.
Charles ended the season with 1,120 yards rushing. He is a bright spot for Kansas City as it heads toward 2010.
He has breathtaking speed and showed Sunday he does not go down easy. Sunday may have been the start of something very big in Kansas City.
