Marshall getting action

Brandon Marshall may be a big part of Denver’s game plan Sunday.

He had two catches for 25 yards on Denver's first drive. The series was stalled at the Oakland 1-yard line after the Broncos cruised down the field. Marshall had a reverse for 5 yards on Denver’s second drive. He then scored the first touchdown of the game on a 2-yard pass from Kyle Orton.

Marshall has seven catches total in the first two games. He sat out nearly the entire second quarter against Cleveland last week and only returned when fellow receiver Eddie Royal was hurt.

During the week, Denver coach Josh McDaniels said he would continue to rotate his receivers. Marshall had 206 catches combined in the past two seasons. He asked to be traded prior to training camp and he was suspended for several days before the season. He said earlier in the week that he is happy in Denver.
