Justice, who is entering his ninth NFL season, signed with the Broncos last season when Ryan Clady went to injured reserve following a Week 2 foot injury. Justice appeared in four games for the Broncos last season and has signed a one-year deal this past offseason.
Justice went through offseason workouts as the No. 2 left tackle and got a long look as the starting right tackle as well. Even early on in training camp Justice worked some with the second-team offense, but of late Paul Cornick has worked as the second-team left tackle and rookie Michael Schofield has worked as the backup right tackle.
The Broncos now have 77 players on the roster and must be down to 75 players by 4 p.m. ET Tuesday.
Also among the cuts Sunday were linebacker Jamar Chaney, who had been a starter for the Eagles earlier in his career. Chaney has had a hamstring injury of late.
Also waived were: Wide receiver Greg Hardin, linebacker Jerrell Harris, safety Charles Mitchell, defensive tackle Will Pericak, quarterback Bryn Renner, running back Jerodis Williams and wide receiver Greg Wilson.
Defensive end Chase Vaughn, who has missed most of training camp and the preseason with a knee injury, was waived injured.
