The Raiders have a need at left tackle. Oakland is expected to seriously consider using the No. 8 overall pick on a left tackle. However, Al Davis is always intrigued by veteran players from good organizations.
I wouldn’t be shocked if Oakland considered Adams and went another route in the first round. I’m not sure if that would be a great idea. Oakland needs to fix the left tackle position for the long term and Adams is not the answer.
Kansas City, San Diego and Oakland could all be in the market for a safety. The Chiefs have the biggest need at the position. If he came cheaply, Hamlin wouldn’t be a terrible move for the Chiefs even if they took Tennessee’s Eric Berry with the No. 5 pick.
I’m not saying Adams and Hamlin are headed to the AFC West, but there are some decent fits.
