Two third-year Denver Broncos will make their Pro Bowl debuts Sunday in Hawaii.
The NFL announced receiver Demaryius Thomas and guard Zane Beadles will be replacement players to the AFC roster. Thomas replaces New England’s Wes Welker and Beadles replaces New England’s Logan Mankins on the roster.
Thomas was considered a Pro Bowl snub after he had 94 catches, 1,434 receiving yards and 10 touchdown catches in 2012. He was a first-round pick in 2010. Beadles, who allowed just one sack in 2012 and who played every snap this season, was a second-round pick in 2010.
Five Denver players were originally selected to the Pro Bowl. Last week, left tackle Ryan Clady withdrew from the game because of a shoulder injury.
