TEMPE, Ariz. -- The Arizona Cardinals continued to build their roster to 90 men on Wednesday.
They signed free agent safety D.J. Campbell.
The 6-foot, 213-pound Campbell didn’t play in 2014 but spent the offseason with San Francisco until he was released on Aug. 25. Campbell was drafted in the seventh round of 2012 by Carolina. He played five games that season with the Panthers, starting four of them and finished with 17 tackles. He was released and played four games for the Miami Dolphins in 2013, notching three tackles.
Campbell's addition puts the Cardinals at 73 players. That number will drop on March 10 when the contracts of upcoming free agents expire.
