Observed in the locker room after the Cardinals’ 27-24 loss to the Rams.
No changes coming: Cardinals coach Bruce Arians preempted all questions about left tackle Levi Brown’s dismal day, during which he allowed three sacks to Rams defensive end Robert Quinn.
“No, I’ not concerned about the offensive line,” Arians said during his opening remarks.
Honey Badger don’t care: Tyrann Mathieu’s forced fumble on an-almost-guaranteed Jared Cook touchdown in the first quarter drew some rave reviews from Arians.
“One of the best plays I’ve seen on this level,” Arians said.
Then Arians compared it to Don Beebe stripping Leon Lett of the Dallas Cowboys in Super Bowl XXVII.
“He didn’t look at me for a second,” Mathieu said.
“I knew it was going to come out.”
Big Man scores: Dan Williams’ touchdown in the third quarter was the first of his career -- as in entire football career.
“I got close in high school one time but I fumbled,” Williams said.
Earlier this week, Williams told Patrick Peterson and Mathieu that if he ever got the ball outside the 30, he’ll pitch it to them. But inside, “I can take it myself.” And he did -- from the 2-yard-line.
