Breaking down Dave Zastudil's new deal

Cardinals punter Dave Zastudil received a $545,000 signing bonus when the ink dried on his new two-year deal in January, according to ESPN's Roster Management System.

Zastudil's base salary was lowered in 2014 to $955,000 but with the signing bonus and a $25,000 workout bonus, he'll receive a total of $1.525 million next season followed by $1.425 million in 2015. That year will include a $270,000 workout bonus and an $105,000 roster bonus, applied only if he's on the Cardinals' 53-man roster in Week 1 in 2015.

His cap hits for the next two seasons are $1,252,500 in '14 and $1,697,500 in '15.
