Recap: Dave Zastudil had big shoes to fill in 2013 -- his own. He set an NFL record for most punts inside the 20-yard-line in 2012, so his work was cut out for him. Fortunately for Zastudil, his foot wasn’t relied on as much in ’13 as it was in ’12 because the Cardinals’ offense moved the ball better. But Zastudil was actually a major factor for the Cards having one of the top defenses in the league. On drives that started following a punt, the Cardinals were No. 1 in points per drive allowed, opponent drive distance, drives without a first down and in drives that didn’t yield consecutive first downs. And Arizona had the third-best starting field position off punts, with offenses starting at the 23-yard-line, according to ESPN Stats & Information.
