Breaking down Logan Thomas' contract

The Arizona Cardinals signed rookie quarterback Logan Thomas to a four-year deal worth $2.22 million in base salary. Thomas also received a $432,092 signing bonus, the only guaranteed money in his contract.

This season, Thomas’ base pay will be $420,000 but his total salary will be $852,092 because of the signing bonus.

His salary will increase by $90,000 for the next three seasons -- $510,000 in 2015, $600,000 in 2016 and $690,000 in 2017.

Thomas’ average per year comes to $663,023.
