Ravens escape with no major injuries

BALTIMORE -- The Baltimore Ravens' offense continually moved the ball up and down the field. Their defense kept the San Francisco 49ers out of the end zone.

The biggest news, however, is what the Ravens avoided -- major injuries.

Here are the injuries the Ravens reported after the game: backup quarterback Tyrod Taylor banged his finger on his throwing hand; cornerback Asa Jackson strained his back; fullback Kyle Juszczyk hurt his neck; safety Anthony Levine injured his finger; and long snapper Morgan Cox suffered a minor ankle injury.

"So, we had nothing major," coach John Harbaugh said. "That's a blessing."

The Ravens sat six players because of injuries: cornerbacks Lardarius Webb (back) and Marrio Norman (undisclosed), inside linebacker Daryl Smith (groin), nose tackle Terrence Cody (hip), guard Will Rackley (head) and defensive end Brent Urban (season-ending knee injury).
