Elvis Dumervil is No. 53 on player rankings

Elvis Dumervil becomes the sixth Baltimore Ravens player to make ESPN's player rankings, checking in at No. 53 in the Top 100 on defense.

Dumervil finished second on the Ravens with 9.5 sacks last season, but he even acknowledged that he was disappointed in his first season with the team.

After a fast start, Dumervil faded in the final two months of the season. He recorded nine tackles and one sack in his last six games.

During that stretch, he never made more than three tackles in a game and had three games without a tackle. His 31 tackles were his fewest since 2008.

Dumervil is still regarded as one of the NFL's top pass rushers. He has recorded multiple sacks in 22 games since 2006, which is the fourth-most in the NFL during that time. Only Jared Allen, DeMarcus Ware and Robert Mathis have had more.

Dumervil is ranked ahead of Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Alterraun Verner and behind Cardinals defensive end Calais Campbell.
