Ravens' Justin Tucker parodies Matthew McConaughey car commercial

How does Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker fare in his first car commercial? All right, all right, all right.

Tucker does a respectable impersonation of Matthew McConaughey, spoofing the Academy Award winner's off-beat car ads. Tucker's parody gets bonus chuckles as he contemplates people who drive with two feet.

The imitation could be a form of flattery and familiarity. Tucker kicked in college for the University of Texas, whose football team is often cheered on by McConaughey, a popular alumnus.

This raises the bar for endorsements by Ravens players, which tend to end up campy. Remember Haloti Ngata dressing up in a chicken suit for a convenience store and Jonathan Ogden's awkward dancing for a local car insurance company? Tucker's commercial comes across like a "Saturday Night Live" digital short.

No one should be surprised by Tucker, whose talents go beyond being the NFL's most accurate kicker. He can sing opera in Russian, Italian and Latin.

After watching Tucker's success in a commercial, one has to wonder what he'll do for an encore.
