Prediction time: Ravens at Lions

DETROIT -- Everyone knows the Baltimore Ravens' struggles on the road and their dismal 1-5 record away from home. To get things corrected on the road, the Ravens have to do something they've never done in franchise history -- win at an NFC North stadium.

The Ravens, who play at the Detroit Lions on "Monday Night Football," are 0-8 when playing at the Lions, Green Bay Packers, Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings. Baltimore's only trip to Detroit ended in a 35-17 loss.

Here are the official ESPN predictions (with their prediction record for the Ravens in parentheses):

Jamison Hensley (10-3), Ravens team reporter: Ravens, 27-23. The Ravens' experience in big games like these in December gives them an edge over the Lions. Plus, Flacco has a 92.3 career passer rating when playing indoors and the Lions have the NFL's 25th-ranked pass defense.

Michael Rothstein, Lions team reporter: Lions, 31-23.

Eric Allen (6-7): Lions

Mike Golic (9-4): Lions

Merril Hoge (7-6): Lions

Ron Jaworski (9-4): Lions

KC Joyner (8-5): Lions

Chris Mortensen (7-6): Lions

Adam Schefter (8-5): Lions

Mark Schlereth (8-5): Lions

Seth Wickersham (8-5): Lions

Tom Jackson (7-6): Lions
