The Baltimore Ravens used a total of $2.14 million of salary-cap space when they signed three players Friday, including tight end Owen Daniels, according to contract information obtained by ESPN Stats & Information.
Daniels, 31, signed a one-year, $1 million contract, which included no signing bonus or guaranteed money. This is quite a bargain for a tight end who made the Pro Bowl two years ago. The price for Daniels was low because he only played 11 games last season after breaking his leg. He had made free-agent visits to the Green Bay Packers and Washington Redskins.
