Two Ravens starters don't practice

OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- The Baltimore Ravens were without two starters on defense in practice Wednesday, when cornerback Jimmy Smith and linebacker Daryl Smith sat out.

Jimmy Smith didn't finish Sunday's loss at Cleveland because of a groin injury. A first-round pick in 2011, he had started every game this season.

Daryl Smith, the team's leading tackler, didn't practice because of a thigh injury. He only played two games for Jacksonville last season when he had a sports hernia injury.

The only two other players on the injury report were both receivers: Marlon Brown (finger, limited participation) and Brandon Stokley (groin, no practice).
