Three future Big 12 players have been chosen for the 2009 junior national team selected by USA Football.
The 45 players selected will compete in the sport's first junior world championship that will take place this summer in an eight-nation competition in Canton, Ohio, beginning June 27.
The Big 12 representatives include Texas A&M defensive tackle Chris Henderson of Dallas Carter High School, Baylor quarterback Bryce Petty of Midlothian, Texas, and Baylor wide receiver Tevin Reese of Temple, Texas.
The American team will be made up of 45 graduating high school seniors from 33 programs around the country. All players are ages 19 and under.
USA Football is the sport's national governing body on youth and amateur levels.
