2008 OU-Texas game set for rebroadcast tonight

Yeah, I know there's kind of a big NBA game that's scheduled tonight.

But for those of you who might be in need of a Big 12 football fix this evening, I've got a suggestion. ESPN Classic will be rebroadcasting most of the 2008 Texas-Oklahoma game beginning at 10 p.m. ET.

It remains one of the most intriguing games in that storied series.

And here's a spoiler alert: That Jordan Shipley guy kind of has a big play, and the game changes a little when Ryan Reynolds gets hurt.

It's worth a watch -- particularly if Kobe and Pau put the game out of hand early.

And this just makes the anticipation for corny dogs, Big Tex and that game on Oct. 17 a little greater for me.
