Kansas State headed to the Pinstripe Bowl

Kansas State has accepted a bid to the inaugural New Era Pinstripe Bowl in New York City.

The Wildcats will play Big East opponent Syracuse, who accepted a bid earlier this week, at 3:30 p.m. ET in Yankee Stadium.

"We are proud of the young men in our program and the courage they have shown this season to get Kansas State University back to a bowl game," coach Bill Snyder said in a release. "The New York Yankees are a first-class organization and we appreciate the Steinbrenner family, Randy Levine, Lonn Trost, Mark Holtzman and the entire Pinstripe Bowl staff for their efforts and support of collegiate football."
