Big 12 ends regular season as No. 2 league

The Big 12 lengthened its lead over the Big Ten and the Pac-10 in ESPN Stats & Info's conference rankings heading into bowl season. The three are in a virtual tie heading into the postseason, and there's sure to be plenty of shakeup.

The Big 12 continued its run at No. 1 in the computers, and is No. 3 in the AP ranking.

"The Big 12 has taken over the No. 2 spot thanks to its incredible balance," writes Albert Larcada. "Kansas is its only school outside the top 60 (out of 120) in the computer rankings. Not having a school with less than two losses hurts it in the AP poll."
