Sooners and Seminoles set for primetime

Oklahoma and Florida State will kick off one of the premier nonconference clashes of the season in primetime.

The game will be broadcast on Sept. 17 on ABC/ESPN and kick off at 7:30 or 8 p.m. ET.

Last year, the pair played an afternoon game in Norman, won 47-17 by Oklahoma. This year's game is set for kickoff in Tallahassee and will be played under the lights at the same time as Ohio State and Miami.

Along with that game and LSU-Oregon in Cowboys Stadium to kick off the season, it should be among the best games of September.

Oklahoma is scheduled to open its season against Tulsa, and will have a bye week before taking on Florida State.
