My top 25 ballot: Week 5

I don't vote in the AP poll, but I do vote in ESPN.com's Power Rankings each week.

Here's the ballot I turned in on Sunday. (Each team's actual AP ranking is in parentheses)

2. Alabama (3)

3. Oklahoma (2)

4. Stanford (6)

5. Oklahoma State (5)

6. Boise State (4)

7. Wisconsin (7)

8. Nebraska (8)

9. South Carolina (10)

10. Oregon (9)

11. Virginia Tech (11)

12. Florida (12)

13. Clemson (13)

17. South Florida (16)

18. Arkansas (18)

19. Texas (17)

25. Houston (NR)

Teams left off poll: Florida State

I've had Oklahoma at No. 1 since the spring, but after the first four weeks of the season, I don't see how you can ignore what Alabama and LSU have done. Oklahoma has been really good, but Alabama and LSU have proven they're the two best teams in the country thus far.

Oklahoma didn't drop as much as they got passed on my ballot.

Also, if Iowa State beats Texas this week, I'll be dropping the Longhorns off my ballot and moving the Cyclones on it. The same is true for Kansas State and Baylor.
