Baylor avoids an injury scare, scores

Baylor receiver Kendall Wright has been the Big 12's best receiver through the first month of the season.

That didn't change on Saturday. He's already caught six passes for 65 yards and a touchdown.

So understandably, him limping off the field after an ugly takedown and getting his ankle looked at on the sideline was a scary sight for Bears fans.

Wright bounced back, though, and got on the field before Terrance Ganaway's second touchdown of the night gave Baylor a 28-14 lead midway through the third quarter.

Wright also injured his shoulder in the first half, but remained on the field.

It could have been bad for Baylor, but quarterback Robert Griffin III and Wright are back in business.
