Missouri's Henry Josey and Oklahoma State's Joseph Randle are among eight semifinalists for the Doak Walker Award, given annually to the nation's top running back.
It'll be tough to beat guys like David Wilson at Virginia Tech, Trent Richardson at Alabama and Ronnie Hillman at San Diego State, but Josey is the Big 12's best chance to win the award.
He's got 1,149 yards and nine touchdowns, which ranks fourth nationally. He also averages 8.57 yards on his 134 carries, the highest average of any running back in the country with more than 75 carries.
No Big 12 back has won the award since Texas' Cedric Benson in 2004.
