Big 12 Players of the Week: K-State, Baylor

The Big 12 has announced its players of the week.


Collin Klein, QB, Kansas State: Klein's six touchdowns were the highest total of any player this season and tied a school record with five rushing touchdowns. He threw for a career high 281 yards and topped 100 yards rushing for the fifth time this season, with 103 yards. He now leads the nation with 24 rushing touchdowns after the 53-50 win over Texas A&M in four overtimes.


Elliott Coffey, LB, Baylor: Coffey picked off two passes and made 10 tackles (seven solo) in the Bears' 31-30 OT win over Kansas. His second interception ended a late drive Kansas hoped would be the game-winner. He returned the first pick 33 yards to the 1-yard line.


Anthony Cantele, K, Kansas State: Cantele extended the game with field goals of 38 and 44 yards. The first came in regulation and the second came in the second overtime of K-State's four-overtime win over Texas A&M.
