Three Big 12 talents are among 10 semifinalists for the Biletnikoff Award, given annually to college football's top receiver.
All easy calls here. Blackmon and Broyles were two of three finalists a year ago, and Wright's been outstanding all season. They're the Big 12's only three receivers with more than 1,000 yards this season. It will be fascinating, though, to see how voters treat Broyles.
The Sooners receiver tore an ACL earlier this month in a win over Texas A&M, but had a great case as the nation's top receiver before the injury. Will he get a nod as a finalist and a trip to the December awards show?
Despite the injury, Broyles is still the Big 12 leader with 1,157 receiving yards on 83 receptions. He's fourth nationally in yardage.
Blackmon leads the Big 12 with 93 receptions and 1,142 yards, with 14 touchdowns. The 14 scores are tied for the national lead and only two receivers have topped his 93 catches.
